Timothy is the Executive Director of ICP Group and Asia Research & Innovation Alliance. He has a good balance of investment management and entrepreneurial experience over the past 16 years in the various industries of investment banking, private equity investment, and venture building of startups and growth companies. 

Over the past 10 years, He has successfully exited 2 private companies and won business awards in the region, whilst in the earlier part of his corporate life, He contributed over $500 million to the bottom line of the blue chip corporate entities. 

Expertise in investment banking, asset management, digital innovation, venture building, technology investments, digital banking and general management.

Program Director

Raymond is the Vice President of Finance and Compliance at Lifetrack Medical Systems. A Finance leader with deep experience in setting up or improving processes, implementation of new tech for finance and administrative functions, and creating relevant reporting framework for key decision making.

He had worked in 7 different industries with success, from major listed companies to startups. He understands how businesses tick and now focuses on helping startups successfully navigate the scale-up phase, not just on financial stewardship but also in terms of organisational culture development.

He believes that with the core values of Honesty, Respect, and Compassion in every endeavor he will do success will follow.

Karen is the Chief Mentor of ICP Innovators Commercialisation Program and the Managing Director of KW Advisory. She has 15 years of experience as Operations Management Executive in clinical service organizations with expertise in P&L, optimizing organizational processes and building capabilities in Asia and Europe. She is a Medical leader with strong business acumen, and an expert in clinical practice and pharmaceutical industry.

An award winning Clinical Research Strategist with an exceptional track record of identifying and acting on areas for improvement, conceptualizing and implementing solutions.

Centre for Innovation in Healthcare (CIH)

Our clinical collaborator in ICP is NUHS - CIH. 

The Centre for Innovation in Healthcare (CIH) forges partnerships with healthcare professionals, scientists, engineers, academics and industry partners to lead the adoption of innovations in health and healthcare delivery.

CIH also actively facilitates inter-disciplinary research, innovation, and enterprise across science, engineering and other disciplines and provides a one-stop ecosystem to test bed solutions including new devices, technologies and work processes, at scale.

Expert Mentor

Professor Mark Chang is the Chief Information Officer and Board Director of Yonglin Healthcare Foundation, and is in the executive management team of many startups of Foxconn Health Technology Business Group. He also serves as an expert committee member of two review boards in Taiwan's Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Health and Welfare. Professor Chang got his doctoral degree in Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering from University of Oxford. 

In his early career, he was an interdisciplinary researcher and principal investigator of Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute, Institute for Information Industry, and Taipei Medical University in medical device, digital health, and precision medicine for more than 15 years.

Larisa is a Senior Life Sciences leader with over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry in Asia. She has built and led large diverse teams of over 500+ spanning from India to Japan including Australia/New Zealand. A strong entrepreneurial leader that has opened new offices, set footprints in new countries, introduced new customer pools, initiated and implemented new strategies and built brands to attract high caliber talent. Experienced in running different delivery models, working in a matrix environment with global and regional stakeholders including government, hospitals and patient advocacy groups. Adoption and managing change has been her strength- e.g. Recently She has successfully implemented a Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM) approach for customers. 

Her business acumen and focus on operational excellence has turned non-profitable business into profit making high growth vertical. As a pioneer in the Asia clinical research space – She has continuously contributed in the development and setting up of regulatory guidelines and industry standards. At global level- as a Board member of the Drug Information Association – advocated for India and Asia.

Kris Wadia is a global C-Suite executive with a proven track record of business launches, growth and operational transformation in Asia.  Whilst at Quintiles, he created the world's first Clinical Global Delivery Network of 7,000 clinical trial professionals across 5 countries.  Private Equity and Venture Capital providers consult him for their Life Sciences, Healthcare and Technology portfolio decisions.  Kris serves on the Advisory Boards of BioTech and HealthTech start-ups globally.

Dr. Ken is the Chief Medical Officer of Medical, Real World, Contract Sales & Medical Solutions & Medtech in Asia. An alumna in University of Melbourne, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. He is experienced in organizing and managing effective medical services to the public. 

His exceptional attitude in his engagement in Europe quickly adapted to the culture within the company but also the distinctive European market. He is always open to helping the countries in finding the best and most pragmatic solutions for the internal and external customers. His focus on the result and less on the process.

Keng is a Vice President of Business Development at Yourgene Health, and Chief Commercial Officer of APAC. He is experienced in business development and partnership, he has been working specifically with companies in the Molecular Diagnostics, laboratory partnership or kit development capabilities for their know-how,  to help them grow their businesses via sales channel. 

He has been working with the company that supplies genetic testing kits, in the area of reproductive health and Oncology who supports laboratories globally in 60 countries.

An alumna of University of Melbourne, who holds a Masteral Degree in Finance, Valuation.

Dr. Yong Chern Chet is the founding Chief Operating Officer for Good Doctor Technology with a simple but profound mission of enabling "Better Healthcare for All''. A good doctor does this by creating a digital new normal for healthcare delivery, continuously applying data analytics into every aspect of our business processes and leveraging A.I methodologies to amplify human capability. 

Dr. Chet was with Ananda Development in the role of Chief Innovation Officer in July 2018, the corporate innovation achievements were acknowledged via an Enterprise Innovation Award at the 24th Asia Iot Business Platform for the use of Big Data and Machine Learning technology to enhance business operations and in September 2018 Ananda Development was again successful as the Thailand winner of IDC’s Asia Pacific Digital Transformation Awards.

Cesar is a graduate of University of the Philippines, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is a seasoned Human Resources leader in the Asia Pacific Region with extensive exposure working with multinationals in various Asia Pacific countries. 

Cesar is experienced in building organizations capabilities, supporting fast business growth in a scalable manner, employee engagement, and leadership and Talent development. 

He was the VP and HR Head of Quintiles transnational (now IQVIA) in Asia, Australia and Africa Regions in 2005 to 2012.

Angela Yik is a Harvard Business School alumna, and she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii. She is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of corporate experience. She currently leads the commercial team from mClinica, a fast-growing regional digital health start-up, responsible for client partnerships on large commercial programs. She has a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare value chain, including contact research.

Angela is experienced in developing growth strategies, initiating new client relationships, increasing revenues from existing clients, evaluating investments, innovating products, turning around underperforming businesses, and driving operational excellence. She is skilled across multiple corporate functions, including strategic planning, business and product development, sales and marketing, finance,

and operations.

Yee Hoong is a successful former Venture Capitalist focusing on Southeast Asian high-growth tech startups, with $50 million deal experiences in healthcare, consumer, and enterprise SAAS, with an exit on Nasdaq. He devised investment strategy and fund construction for 3 SEA-based funds.

Suresha is the Chief Executive Officer of AWAK Technologies. He has spent over a decade in the medical technology space, enabling company growth, increasing revenues, and developing various innovative medical devices. At AWAK, in addition to building a vibrant startup team and achieving notable success in completing the first-in-human safety trial, under his leadership, the company's valuation grew significantly over the last few years and secured a whopping $40 million in late 2019.

He has acquired deep domain expertise in areas such as Dialysis, Respiratory Care, ECG/Cardio, Remote Patient Monitoring and Therapy Surface Technologies. He has navigated many complex products in these domains through 510 (K) and CE clearance processes. 

For more than a decade, he has cultivated extensive experience in the fields of R&D, IP, QA/RA, marketing, clinical, supply chain, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs.

Vivek is the Chief Financial Officer of Asia Pac at IQVIA. He is experienced in driving sustainable business growth and deeply involved in developing and executing Growth Strategy as Trusted Business Partner to APAC President. Experienced in managing Operations and Finance in Asia Pacific, Japan, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

He has been involved in improving business performance through Operational Effectiveness & Business Transformation and Implementing Digital Solutions,  managing Customer Engagement; Partnership and Joint Ventures, and with Strategic Pricing, Deal Structuring for SAAS solutions in APAC which adopted SAAS Revenue Recognition model in the region.

Dr. Vinayak is both a practicing clinician and a scientist based at Monash University. He is not just caring for pregnant mothers and their babies, but he is also a researcher focusing on optimising early medical device innovation and improving innovation diffusion in healthcare. Another aspect of his work is also the realms of breakthrough research translation. To date, He has been involved in the development, active commercialisation and clinical testing of numerous novel technologies with academia and industry both internationally and locally. On top of this, He has also been involved as the clinical strategy lead for several Healthtech companies where he helps strategize their best clinical approach.

He has continuously been inspired by open innovation and is working incessantly towards building links between academia, industry and clinicians. Through this, he hopes to empower the innovation ecosystem and aim to inspire others to join him on this journey too.

He has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, public sector and private entrepreneurship. And has a proven track record in product conceptualisation, development and commercialization success combining strategic outlook with pragmatic execution and commercial acumen. Areas of expertise include cash & liquidity management, corporate treasury advisory, offshore RMB market development, digital strategy, Ecosystem Design, Fintech, API, Blockchain/ DLT.

Serene Ong has 20 years of business development, healthcare and clinical trial experience with start-up companies, pharma, venture capital, hospital and major global clinical trial organizations in US, Europe and Singapore. She now holds the dual role of Vice President of Global Sales Operations and Vice President of Commercial Operations, Asia Pacific for Marken. Before this, she was the Vice President of Business Development, Asia Pacific for inVentiv Health (now Syneos), a global provider of healthcare, clinical and pharma consulting to biopharmaceutical clients. Prior to that, Serene held senior executive positions in various companies including Head of Strategic Development, Asia Pacific at ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services Inc (now PRA Health Sciences) and Manager of Global Sales at Quintiles (now iQvia) where she honed her skills in the clinical research industry spanning across sales, marketing, and business development.

Serene completed her EMBA at INSEAD in 2018. She also graduated with a Masters of Science (Pharmacy) from the National University of Singapore and a Minor in Technopreneurship from Stanford University.
